Long Description
Adds a new item in the "Balls" category (currently called "Iron Balls", as these are the only items in it in vanilla). UnIDed appearance is "studded rubbery ball", IDed is "katamari ball"; Japanese name is "katamari". You can push it like a boulder, and items which are light enough (compared to its current weight) will stick to it. Unlike a boulder, you can *always* "squeeze onto" its square (albeit without the message). #loot or apply the ball to add/remove items from it. The katamari can be thrown or kicked (if light enough) to cause damage to monsters; the amount of damage scales with weight. If it strikes a wall or obstacle (not a monster, currently) mid-flight, items may fall off; the same goes if you unsuccessfully kick it. (SIDE-EFFECT: any container will now suffer impact damage if thrown/kicked into a wall or obstacle) Fragile items attached to a katamari aren't protected from striking/force bolt. Items (including any corpse) dropped by a monster killed by a thrown/kicked katamari may become stuck to it. Katamari are not generated anywhere in this patch (although an upgrade including a Sokoban replacement has been suggested!); you can wish for one or polymorph an iron ball.
