| A product of insomnia. This patch adds the wand of the Infinite Kitten. It has the same probability of appearance as a wand of create monster. When you zap it, it creates a very large number of angry kittens around you. These kittens do not count toward the extinction total. And they're ANGRY.
This patch probably breaks bones files and such. I'm sorry. | |

| maybe if you (I didn't) limit it to 200 f monsters (many of which can be tamed at least in my game) it wouldn't be so bad. Also Non-Gen makes it the players' choice to screw themselves or themselves on a later (personally built and offline) bones file.[Quote] | ||

This patch was written in January 2006, a kinder, gentler time, before lolcats pervaded. This patch heralded the oncoming storm, to prepare the various and sundry from the onslaught to come. None heeded. NONE HEEDED. AND NOW LOOK WHAT YOUR HUBRIS HAS WROUGHT! Why? Because I decided that while I was source-diving anyway, I may as well accomplish something while I was down there. Why so serious? Lighten up. Anyway, I lost the patch in a disk crash, and I didn't remember it existed, so I didn't recover it from backup. I'll see if I can find it.[Quote] | ||

I'm sorry, but having endured an unhealthy amount of feline image macros, my tolerance for kitten-related Internet humour has surpassed breaking point!
Also, the wand creates _exactly_ 2000 kittens, per zap. That manages to simultaneously break the game both for and against your favour. Honestly, why?
